Step By Step
- Yellow, red, blue and purple Rainbow Color Drops Monomer Colorant by EZ
Flow was added to monomer to create colors for backgrounds.
- Using separate dappen dishes, I added color drops to monomer to create
each color.
- I dipped my brush into colored monomer then into clear acrylic. The clear
acrylic turns into the color of the drops added to monomer. I then layered
each of the four colors onto the nail to create the background.
- Green seaweed was created using a layer of Peridot then a layer of Emerald
and accents with Sour Apple.
- Yellow Seaweed was made using Daffodil with tiny Granite dots on top.
- Fish and Turtle were made using Onyx with Sourapple patches on back of
turtle.
- Octopus was made with Ruby. Onyx eyes and Truly White suckers.
- Seahorse was made using Bride. Onyx eyes and body slightly outline with
Onyx.
- Starfish (barely visible) was made with Bride.
- All designs and creatures were made with micro balls of acrylic and pushed
into shape
- Nails were overlaid or "capped" with clear acrylic and shaped
and filed with the Wild Pro files.
- Nails were buffed to a high shine and sealed with EZ Flow UV 30.
