______ 1. QUALITY OF SUBMISSION: Clarity, sharpness, brightness, total visibility of artwork in the scan, as well as angle of view and minimal glare. 10 pts.
______ 2. LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: How difficult the technique or skill required to accomplish the nail art. 10 pts.
______ 3. ORIGINALITY: Is this a fresh, creative and NEW idea? A new twist on an old idea? 10 pts.
______ 4. PRESENTATION: Does submission conform to "theme" - Patriotic (any country) or "Dog Days of Summer" 10 pts.
______ 5. PRECISION APPLICATION: Images must be clearly defined in the artwork. Look for mastery of control of implements/tools used to accomplish design. 10 pts.
______ 6. CONSISTENCY: Nail art is consistent in style and control. Color has a smooth, neat finished appearance. 10 pts.
______ 7. FINE ART APPEARANCE: Images appear constant and do not have a "stenciled" appearance. Hand-cut stencil/ mask designs receive higher points than "out of the box" images. 10 pts.
______ 8. DIMENSIONAL QUALITIES: Artwork that demonstrates contouring and shadowing techniques. 10 pts.
______ 9. USE OF COLOR: Use of complimentary and contrasting color techniques; knowledge of color theory apparent in finished artwork. 10 pts.
______ 10. WORKMANSHIP: Overall view of completed artwork. Is the design too "busy"? 10 pts.

______ 4. PRESENTATION: High shine, smooth surface - no scratches, soft tissue free of nicks or cuts, lack of dust or seepage in "down the barrel" view 10 pts.
______ 5. APPLICATION: No bubbles, color consistency,  clarity of product,  10 pts.
______ 6. Tip or Sculpt:  White tip usage - was 1 or 2 colors of acrylic used? Sculpt - Shape uniform 10 pts.
______ 7. Smile Lines: Crisp, uniform for all nails, in balance with cuticle shape. 10 pts.
______ 8. Length: Length suited to nail beds, consistency of length 10 pts.
______ 9. "C" Curve: Salon curve, uniformity for all nails, thickness 10 pts.
