E-Jr 4
For this set of sculpted nails I have used Akzentz gels.
- I
prepped the nails by pushing back the cuticles, and removing the shine using
180 grit.
- I
removed the dust with a nylon brush and applied alcohol based cleanser. I
applied primer sparingly and I let it dry.
- I
applied a thin layer of Star Nail Calcium Kapping gel as a bonder, cured the
nails for 2 minutes.
- I
customized the forms for a better fit and applied them.
- I
applied thin layer of Akzentz Natural White gel (as a base of my extension)
from the free edge (but not overlapping the nail) on the form. This creates
an even surface to place the Ultra White gel on and adds strength. Cure 2
min..
- I
applied the Akzentz Ultra White gel to the nail just above the smile line,
and onto the Natural White gel. I perfected the smile line. I did one nail
at a time, and freeze cured.
- I
applied Akzentz Natural Coverage Pink gel from the cuticle to the smile
line, and wiped carefully any pink gel that overlapped the white gel. Cure 2
min.
- Then
I applied a coat of Clear gel from just above the stress area to the free
edge adding more gel in stress area using tailing technique. Cure 2 min.
- I
wiped the nails with cleanser and shaped them with 100/180 file.
- I
cleaned the underside of the nails with an e-file and diamond cone bit,
followed by fine carbide bit (cone bit).
- I
removed any dust and wiped the nails with cleanser.
- I
applied Clear Gloss to the nails and cured 2 min.
- I
removed the dispersion layer and applied oil to the cuticles and a hand
cream.
- I
polished 2 nails with Matrix polish #17 “Outrageous”
