I began my design painting each of the Tammy Taylor Whitest White C-Curve nail tips with Nail Savvy Brands' Violet Rays polish.  I than began in the center of each nail by painting a portion of the nail with Light Orchid, followed by, using a fading technique, Liberty Blue mixed with White and then Liberty blue.  I painted the bottom portion (starting in the middle moving down) black and included some trees in the background over some portions of the sunset for a nightime backdrop.  I then dipped my brush into Liberty Blue, Light Orchid, and Grey at the same time on different portions of my brush and did a shadowing technique over the complete bottom black portion of each nail to bring life and contrast to the parking lot of the design.  The 50's Diner portion of the design was first done with a black background which I handpainted, and given detail with Grey,  Green Clover, Aquamarine, and Indian Turquoise.  The "Roadside Diner" sign on the top of the building was painted with Bright Yellow and Azalea Blush to contrast with the dark skyline.  The bottom portion of the diner was handpainted into a checkerboard design using White and Black.  The windows and doors were then brought to life by fading Red Apple, Cinnamon Apple, Bright Yellow and White.  Bushes were then formed with Black and Victorian Green on each side of the diner.  A apparition of an antique car was painted using Green Clover mixed with White and Victorian Green, with Red Apple Taillights.  I then went back to the parking lot portion of the design with my brush dipped in Bright Yellow and White watered down and highlighted the area of the parking lot in direct proportion to the diner windows so that the light would appear to stream onto the concrete.  I finished the design by painting a car hop waitress on roller skates using Azalea Blush, Cinnamon Apple, White, Bright Yellow, Black, and Goose Feather, and finally by adding a tray in her hand with a drink perched on top, with a mixture of the colors mentioned above.
