My Fifties inspired nail art is a reflection
of a bygone era. Cruisin’ to the
local drive-in burger joint, listening to music on the juke box, and eating your
favorite treat served by a soda jerk were some of the favorite pastimes.
Letter sweaters, leather jackets, and mid-calf poodle skirts with bobby
socks were all the rage.
The background of my entry was done in a
geometric pattern using the following nail polish:
EzFlow “Splish Splash”
EzFlow “Sand In My Toes”
EzFlow “Pansy”
Nail Savvy “Ebony Black”
Tropical Manicure #45
I used the following acrylic paint colors in
the foreground:
Bright Red
Yellow
Black
Hot Pink
White
Green
Flesh
The brushes used to paint the detail work are
the 18/0 Spotter and the 10/0 Liner. The
work was topcoated with a clear nail art sealer.
The photograghs were taken using a Sony
Digital Mavica Camera. The editing
software used is Pixel Studio 2.0.
