Hi, has anyone tried Shellac with an LED lamp other than the new CND LED lamp? Prior to the new CND LED lamp, Shellac was only able to be cured under the CND UV lamp.
Now that CND launched "their" LED lamp, Shellac can be cured under "their" LED lamp.
Please let me know if you tried Shellac with another brand LED lamp. What was the results?
Thanks,
Marisol

Two of my co workers use the gelish 18g to cure Shellac all the time. I don't know if it is hit or miss with them ,but ,I certainly don't trust it...

Shellac only cures in their lamp or a traditional UV lamp. LED gel polishes that are formulated for 36w LED lamp will not fully cure in the new cnd lamp. It is explained very clearly in previous posts. I would suggest to protect your work and professionalism to understanding the technology you are using and not to just adopt other people bad habits. We should not be passing on incorrect information . Thank you to those who offered up proper research
Thank you for the information. I forgot I posted this about 2 years ago. I was curious about the use of CND with other lamps. As I do not use one gel line exclusively. I like to try different products to see what works best for me. Not all gel lines offer all the colors I like or the consistency I prefer. There needs to be a universal lamp. It is not very cost effective to buy a lamp for every gel line.
