KORAME COLORS [Stardust Collection]

KORAME COLORS [Spring Collection]

These colors come in a set of 6 and cost about 50.00 per set. Each container is a tiny 5g but well worth it for such eye capturing colors. They are a bit pastelish but that is fun for summertime especially.

[Image: 820663.jpg][Image: 820664.jpg][Image: 820709.jpg]

There are alot of other colors, too many to post! I am just posting an example of all the yummy hues this brand offers.

TUTORIAL[ Multi colour 3D GEL ]

STEP 1:
First determine the length of nail you desire with file. Although in the image an emery board is used, I wouldnt use an emery board..Too harsh on nails.

STEP 2:
Becareful not to damage the nail like this, take important care when filing the length and surface of the nail! Scarring the nail is bad.

STEP 3:
Pre-Primer is added to the nail after filing, to remove excess oil content to ensure that the UV GEL is properly fitted.

Step 4:
Primer is added to the nail.

Step 5:
Install the form properly to the finger according to preference.

Step 6:
A thin layer of clear gel is put on the base of the nail. It can prevent yellowing or staining to the nail from the color gels.

Step 7:
Place the nail under the UV light once for 2-3 minutes.

Step 8:
Dont remove the form until the UV has hardened. Removing the form before ultraviolet doesnt secure firmness and quality.

Step 9:
Take your clear glitter Korame Gel and place it on about half of the nail bed facing toward the point.

Step 10:
Place the nail under the UV light once more for 4 minutes, or for twice as long as you did the first coat.

Step 11:
[Image: 12.JPG] [Image: 13-2.JPG]
Using your "Peach" color Korame Gel, place a dab toward the point of the nail, our goal is a transparent gradiation.

Step 12:
Then add a small amount of blue gel[ or your choice of color] and ease from the point [tip] into the peach, the same way, blending the colours to give a gradient effect while still keeping transparency.

Step 13:
Apply a thin layer of clear gel over the gradient and then set the nail once more under the UV light.

Step 14:
[Image: 19.JPG][Image: 20.JPG]
Before the gel fully hardens use a soft buffing cloth and wipe it clean. File the nail down [ once again using emery board is optional.] to your desired length and shape naturally.

Step 15:
[Image: 21.JPG][Image: 22.JPG]
Using a white block buff the top of the gel to make it smooth. Use a clean wet cloth and gently wipe the dust off.

Step 16:
[Image: 23.JPG][Image: 24.JPG]
Place a layer of clear gel topcoat. It is now complete and we move on to the 3D flower.

Step 17:
[Image: 1.JPG][Image: 4.JPG][Image: 6.JPG]
Using your clear green gel, start out by placing a small ball onto a small sized marble and shape into a leaf.

Step 18:
[Image: 7.JPG][Image: 8.JPG][Image: 9.JPG]
Place the leaf under a UV light and then compare the size to the nail so you dont make it too big or too small. The leaf was made with a simple cheap wooden cuticle pusher. The flower petals are made this way aswell.

Step 19:
[Image: 10.JPG][Image: 11.JPG][Image: 12.JPG]
Prepare the foil and add a small bead of clear gel to the foil. The flowers that are made at an earlier time are place onto the clear gel. 5 petals should be balanced in an upright position using the clear gel on the bottom as a hold to balance the form of the flower. Using tweezers makes this step easier to align the petals correctly.

Step 20:
[Image: 13.JPG][Image: 14.JPG][Image: 15.JPG]
Harden the flower under a UV light, after the flower has hardened gently and very carefully remove/peel from the foil. We now have our complete flower and leafs.

Step 21:
[Image: 16.JPG][Image: 17.JPG][Image: 18JPG.JPG]
Place glue onto the flower and set on top of the nail. Do this very carefully...after the glue has hardened the flower will lock onto the nail. Using tweezer place some Brion/Bryon beads in the middle of the flower to make it have the appearance of pollen. When you are finished with the beads, cover them with a glossy topcoat polish so that they stay in place.

FINISHED!
Yay, you are finished with your 3D gel flower nail! Try other variations of flowers and colors for unique cute look.

The colors look really nice and the flower is cute but very impractical. I'd have that knocked off within minutes! Thanks for the Tut.

Lol, yeah I agree I would so totally ruin that flower. I think the flower is more of a teeney bopper thing, it'd be nice for prom or something. It'd be hard for us to actually do ppls nails with 3D stuff sticking out of our own too! I couldnt do it lol. I like the way the nail gradient looks though with the pretty pastels, when I first saw these gels I thought: " oh no another cheap hong kong chop shop brand" but theyre actually not, theyre real nice, Japan product usually isnt as bad as chinese no name ebay kind I think. I would love to use the Anna Sui brand.

Long long ago (back in maybe 2000) I used to visit the Nelpara site every week. They were one of the first to advertise 3d acrylics and had how to's. I think even a section of their site is in English now. Cool stuff!

Yeah, the how-to section isnt in english yet. I think there should be more unique tutorials for doing nails, some websites I find in japanese have amazing nail work, its hard to belive ppl can make such detail with a tiny canvas. I wish here in the states I could find a nail product distributer that has all the acrylic colors and gel colors anyone know where I can shop? hahaha.

@rose:

Are you asking me or keri about working for nelpara?
I wish I did! No, Im a cosmetology student that's been doing nails for friends, for 2 years or so now [ since I was 19] and decided recently to go to cosmotology school. I been trying forever to find colorful gels and acrylics powders that stand out above the commons and came across nelpara a few months ago! I was put into a japanese language class in high school and thats how I can read/translate it lol. I really dont know where to find things like this in the states so I order from online sites like nelpara often, wish I knew where to look around here for a good product distributer..I go into sally beauty supply for a look sometimes but they always got the same old primary colors or the IBD [IDB?] sets. Would like to know how to mix colors with higher quality brands like entity but I dont know if buying a primary color set would ruin the overall quality of them since the brands are different. like if I took a little bit of red and some pure white entity and mixed a bit of blue to make a lilac, if the outcome would be bad quality because of the mixing. I am still learning about things, oddly enough I am better at gel's then I am acrylics lol so correct me if I am explaining things wrong!
