Footsie Pedi Bath
Anyone know if this can be used without liners? The liners are pretty expensive and if business is slow for me (and I am pretty busy) than I know the other nail tech who does about 6 people a week will really be complaining about the bath if the owner decides to get it. Because we will be expected to buy our own liners. However, if it can be used without a liner and we just have to sanitize it thoroughly I think it would be a worthwhile investment. Right now the baths we have are very cheap and do not keep the water warm AT ALL! I have gone with Helen of Troy Hot Spa in the past and although it keeps the water warm, but they seem to break down and start squealing in like 6 months. Any opinions on this???

I have one of these and they are great. NO, you cannot use it without the liner. The last time I got liners, I paid $89.00 for 100, so that makes them .89 each. Some companies run them on special so you can be on the look out and purchase when they are on sale. If you have never ordered from Ed Wyse before, your first time ordering you get a 20% discount on your order, so that may be an option for you as well. If you are an employee, and the owner provides your supplies, this would be her responsibility to get them. If you are not an employee and you are making your own prices and supplying your own stuff, you should still be making a big margin profit wise on your pedicure services if you decide to use the Footsie Bath. Hope this helps!

Ha ha no, you can't use it without liners. Let's just say one day I forgot to put one in, and filled it with water

Your Clients are worth .89 cents. Just a thought.

I haven't been able to get my hands on liners so I have been using trash bags. I roll them up on the sides and it doesn't look bad. Everytime I apoligize to my clients they tell me they don't care as long as they know its sanitary. just a thought for you

Thank you all for your responses! We are getting them, with the liners and all agreed that the liners were definitely reasonably priced. And thank you for the Ed Wyse site! I had no clue

Kathy, not sure where you are but they're available online with http://www.edwyse.com. It will look much more professional if you get the liners. They're biodegradable and start breaking down within 1-2 months so you don't even need to worry about recycling.
